My hubby and I have stayed here twice now - once at Lahaina, once at Napili. In a word... AMAZING! We absolutely love it. The resorts are gorgeous, the service is outstanding, and the accommodations are top notch. The pool area is so serene and beautiful, especially at Napili. And the Lahaina resort has the most beautiful views from each room. Love, love, love it! Some of the best restaurants and shopping in all of Maui!

Class all the way. Great rooms, views, service. It's just a great place to stay. The views are just great. We saw whales spouting right outside the resort. Always quality food and decor at Marriott. Can be a tad pricey.

Dirtiest room we have ever stayed in at a Marriott timeshare. Toilet not cleaned popcorn kernels littered throughout the living room and dirty linen left under king size bed. Filthy kitchen cabinets, black mold around inside door of refrigerator and Central air conditioner thermostat broke after third day. Was temporarily repaired but had to be manually turned on and off for the last four days of our stay. Marriott staff was apologetic. Offered us some compensation but reneged on free week of Interval International saying they already exceeded their compensation limit of $170. and a changing room use of 3 hours prior to heading to the airport which was valued at $250.

The Assistant Manager told us, because the timeshare was totally booked there were no other rooms available to move us to. Additionally they were short of staff so perhaps that why the cleanliness was not up to par!

I am an owner of four Marriott timeshare properties and in the fifteen years as a owner, I have never stayed at a Marriott property run and maintained as poorly as the Marriott Maui Ocean Club. To make matters worse, we were traveling with another couple and we raved about how wonderful Marriott’s were. The couple was interested in purchasing a Marriott timeshare, however after seeing what we were going through, they decided to pass on Marriott and purchased two weeks from a different timeshare company.

I loved this resort. The pool was great and one could stay there all day. Good places to eat and great snorkling.

We just got back from the Marriott Maui Ocean Club. Its situated right on the ocean. You couldn't ask for a easier beach access in Maui. The resort is set in a horseshoe with easy access to the tiki bar and pools. There is something for everyone. We had three Villas in our groups. One ocean front, one ground level and one in Napili. All were perfect for our needs. We found a great restaurant in Lahaina called, Aloha plate, and landed there for happy hour and mini plates. A GREAT local hangout with excellent views of the ocean and great inexpensive food and drink. One day we hit Leilani's down the boardwalk for happy hour and salads, you have to try the hula pie. We of course, dined and drank at Cheeseburgers, HI ERNIE!!! overall we can't wait to go back, we have booked our weeks for next year, we can't imagine going to any other resort on Maui. ALOHA

The location is perfect along the beach and the grounds are beautiful. You can walk the beach or sidewalk path down to Whalers Village and all the way down to the black rock near the Sheraton. We had an oceanfront view - wow. It was really spectacular. Though we would have liked a full kitchen, the bed made up for it! Super comfortable, king-size, and we actually slept peacefully every night. As for the "kitchen", we had a decent refrigertor, a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. It sufficed as we were able to have breakfast in each morning and we were out most days. Service was excellent, check in and out was easy, location on Kaanapali beach was superb! Also, quite convenient was the little market shop which was stocked with many food and drink items, beach items and more. It also offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had dinner at Longboards restaurant twice. The setting was nice, eating outdoors along the beach front, and they featured live local musicians and hula dancer. Food was good, so we enjoyed ourselves and listened to the music.

We absolutely loved it here. You won't be disappointed. We had high expectations and we were not. We had one bedroom suite in the older building but it looked to be updated. We had two beautiful bathrooms and views of the ocean and pool from our balcony. The grounds are absolutely stunning! We went surfing in front of the resort, which was great fun and surprisingly easy. It's a 15 minute walk to great snorkeling with turtles at Blackrock and 5-10 minute walk to Whaler's village.

Fantastic! You will love this place. It is gorgeous. The pool area is just awesome. The kids will have so much fun on the slide, swimming, the waterfalls etc. The view from the pool to the ocean is amazing. The service here is 1st class. They treat you like royalty. The drinks were reasonable (remember, it is Hawaii).
Get out and do the drive on the Hana Highway. You can even rent a Ferrari to do it (we didn't). It's just amazing. That's an all day event. Spectacular scenery.
I recommend going to a luau while there. Great show and lots of fun. I enjoyed most of the food. We weren't too crazy about Poi (taste?).
You can not go wrong with this resort. It's paradise.
