We head to Cabo and the Pueblo Bonito Resort every other year and trade the alternate years. It's a great resort. We love it. It's got 6 pools and great service. They really treat you well. It's not in the heart of Cabo so it's not crazy. It's more laid back. It sits right on the ocean.
This was our 3rd vacation to Mexico (Cabo and Cancun before). Each time is better. This was our fav trip of all. We really enjoyed our stay at the Pueblo Bonito-Mazatlan resort. I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
The rooms are nicely decorated and smell clean. The rooms are large and overlook the pool. I thought the food at the resort was good (but pricey – You will love Cilantro’s) and the staff was helpful. The 2 large pools are large, clean, and fun.
I recommend going into town although the ride into Mazatlan is a little long. I recommend a taxi as parking is rough. There is another great place just outside the resort called Playa Bruha - great food, great fun. Visit the Tequila factory – it’s interesting and fun to sample.
