    I had a fabulous stay at Le Montrose this past spring. It was a bit hard to find at first, but being out of the way payed off. It is located in the middle of a residential neighborhood and it stays about as quiet as it gets at night in Hollywood. We had come and go privileges with the 24 hour valet parking and they were prompt and polite. Every time we called downstairs with a question or for the car, they were quick to answer the phone.

    The hotel room itself was spacious, well decorated, complete with a plasma TV in the bedroom and a small fireplace that ran on a timer. Although I did not stay long enough to use them properly, I must note the expansive closet space and the kitchenette. The toilet and bathtub are in a small room together, with the sink outside in a larger room. There is also a vanity and a walk in closet, all covered with mirrors. The kitchen was surprisingly large, with a lot of cabinet space and a "large" mini-fridge, and a full sink.

    My favorite part had to be the living room area. I can't tell you how nice it was to be able to curl up on the couch and pop in a dvd, something normally not comfortably done in a hotel.

    My only complaint would have to be the the air-conditioner is a small unit built into the wall that seemed to take a while to cool off the place.

    I would definitely recommend Le Montrose!

    I stayed here with my girlfriend and let me just say that this is one of the best "hidden" hotels that Hollywood has to offer. It is located in a quiet residential street a couple blocks away from Sunset Blvd (they close off the street to Sunset at night).

    The design of the hotel is very hip and funky with a pool/jacuzzi on the roof for a great view of the city. The suites are very spacious and might as well be a little apartment! I would definitely return to this hidden gem.
