The Worldmark Branson is located kind of off the beaten path which is nice. You’re only about 10 minutes or so from shopping. Silver Dollar City is about another 10 minutes further than that. Once again we wanted a different resort but RCI never responded to us.

We got a two bedroom which was nice, clean, had a kitchen, fridge, washer and dryer. Nice outside pool and Jacuzzi, recreation/exercise room. The kids enjoyed the stay. King size bed in MBR. Guest room had two twin beds, with their own little bathroom. Only minus is the Masters bedroom has a regular bath not a garden tub and it's really small. I rate the condo above average because my other condo in Galena, IL., has a jacuzzi tub with a fireplace. Oh, and the people were always friendly here. I found the workers to be pleasant and no sales people trying to sell me another timeshare.

We weren't thrilled with the Worldmark Galena, IL. We were in town for a wedding so we decided to use our timeshare. Overall it's a nice property with a nice clean pool, whirlpool, sauna and a workout room. We had some issues with the beds. Overall the resort is fine.

The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. On the downside, I remembered my wife got really itchy legs from sleeping in the bed. We found out they had bed-bugs. We told the staff and they fixed it (spray or whatever) while we were out.

For dinner, you have one restaurant close by otherwise you are driving.

One thing I would recommend is hot air balloon rides. wow, what fun. I was pretty nervous but we did it anyway. You can do that at Eagle Ridge. You will see just beautiful countryside.

In town, main street has the typical shops and restaurants. Mississippi River boat rides are offered and take off from Dubuque which isn't very far.

We have stayed at Worldmark Galena, IL several times. We always feel welcomed and not just some customer. Really, the service is great. One thing they can do is expand the menu and make some improvements. I found the food to be a little bland but not bad at all.

The unit has a King size bed, fireplace, TV, patio doors that open to a fully furnished deck. The bathroom had a 2 person jacuzzi that works very well! Full kitchen for any type of cooking. Everything you need. The laundry room was fully epuiped with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board, and for those little messes, a broom and vaccum. The unit is tastefully decorated and all of it was clean. The staff here is always friendly and very helpful. It's a very homey feel unlike your typical resort where a lot of times you feel more like a number than a customer.
