We stayed at the Marriott Waiohai Beach club about 5 years ago. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a very new resort at the time.

The grounds are beautiful with the gardens and spread of the pools. The food at the onsite restaurant was very good as always. And for the price of the buffet breakfast $15 or so, it's going to be hard to beat. It had lots of fresh fruit. Rooms were very nice and clean. Plenty of room for the family. Ate out every night, but the kitchen was nice for lunches, snacks, etc. TWo restaurants we can recd are: Roy's and the Beach House.

Rent a car and get to Hanalei Bay - It's beautiful. And for snorkeling you can walk right on to the beach from the resort. You'll see some really great marinelife.

    Overall, the resort was excellent

We've stayed at the Marriott Desert Springs Villas I a few times. We've always enjoyed ourselves. A friend just came back and was upset because they no longer allow you use privilege for the JW Marriott. What a disappointment. I confirmed that with the resort before I wrote this. The JWM is really nice. You have to pay an extra fee per day to use it.

Overall, my experience at Marriott's Desert Springs Villas was a fantastic one. The resort itself is conveniently located by shopping areas and outside restaurants. Also, the resort had enough amenities than one did not need to travel anywhere. The shops and restaurants onsite were first class! Our unit was just adjacent to the golf course (by request) and in a very quiet and serene area which backed to a small lake with ducks. Pools and spa were right next door. It was a week of total relaxation and rest, enjoying the beauty of the California scenery. The unit was a lock-off and slept 4 comfortably. Mini frig, microwave, and sink made eating a light breakfast in the room convenient. The beds were very comfortable and the extra large bathroom was very roomy even for three women! The room was very clean and maid service came daily to address any needs. Even though it was a very large resort it was very quiet and comfortable.

The Aruba Ocean Club was renovated within the last 2 years. After the renovation it deserves a 5 star, sorry I mean 5 lime rating :) . The accommodations are great. The units are modern 2 BR and 2 BA with a kitchen and all amenities. Our unit had a Jacuzzi tub and the living room was large with a nice flat screen TV (as did the bedroom).

I would suggest Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse on the property. I really enjoyed the steak and the Crème Brule. Nice selection of wine was perfect. I also suggest Simply Fish. Great seafood right on the beach. This is a property you want to vacation at for sure.

Certainly not the finest Marriott property in the showcase but the Ko olina Beach Club is clean and with a nice location on the beach. You'll have the classic Marriott service by the pool and acceptable food. They need to look into having better food options. There's snorkeling on the beach that is reasonably priced.

And you'll have an easier time getting into Ko olina than you will other Marriott properties in Hawaii. The rooms are not large enough and the amenities are not as good as the newer resorts but you'll be comfortable.

Club Intrawest Palm Desert last November. It sits on the Desert Willow Golf Course across from the Marriott Desert Springs Resort. We traded for a 2 bedroom lock off.

The condo was well maintained, and had beautifully manicured grounds. The resort has a very nice check-in area with an adult pool, fitness center with locker rooms, and theater. There was complimentary internet for guests and the condos are Wifi ready. We stayed in building 12- 2nd floor overlooking the pool. Our patio had a nice table and outside fireplace. If you want to overlook the pool be sure to stay in buildings 12-16.

There were no children at the resort at this time so it was very quiet. Our unit also looked out onto one of the Desert Willow Mountain course's fairways. I highly suggest if you are reserving a 2 bedroom that you request the lock off style. The 2nd bedroom is basically the hotel unit. It has a mini kitchen and king bed and large bathroom. If you reserve a regular 2 bedroom, the 2nd bedroom would have 2 single? (double beds) and no mini kitchen. So the 2 bedroom lockoff has 2 master suites with the main master having an extra large walk-in shower off the side of the bedroom. We found the kitchen to be a little under stocked. It could have used a few more pots and pans, bowls etc. The blender was not a full size one, only big enough to mix 2 drinks. We were surprised and a little disappointed to find that there is no regular oven in the unit, only a microwave convection oven. Also there is no dining table inside. The patio table has to be used for dining or the bar area with 4 bar stools. I guess the idea was that most guests might be eating out more than cooking in. We did our groceries at the Ralph's supermarket a few blocks away.

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Club Intrawest Palm Desert. The location is great and the property is beautiful. We would definitely stay there again. Golfers? Guests receive 15% discount at Desert Willow.

Marriott Marbella Beach Resort is a prized property in Europe. It's got a great location on the beach and it offers very high quality accommodations with granite and marble all throughout the unit.

We watched the sunset from our balcony and it is truly fantastic and memorable. It's a very popular destination for Europeans on travel but I strongly recommend Americans that want to experience Spain/Europe to feel comfortable there as they will help you assimilate to the culture and take their time with you planning your days. We highly recommend this property.

Marriott Grande Vista in Orlando, FL is a very good resort and perfect for a family with the intention of visiting the amusement parks in the area. Nice spacious rooms, nice pool area, and very clean. It's not the luxury of the Cypress but that is not the intent. It's much easier to get into this property and it's perfect for a family. I have no hesitation recommending this to my kids their families visiting Disney.

Marriott Kauai Beach Club in Kauai, HI has just gone through some renovations. They had a huge underground drain issue that was fixed and the rooms were updated. The rooms are very nice but not overly spacious. The location of the resort on the beach is fantastic. I don't know of another resort with a view of the ocean and mountains and having beachfront of that quality anywhere. This is a prize of a property.

Marriott Cypress Harbour - Located in Orlando it is one of the finer Marriott properties. It's new and more upscale than the other Orlando properties. Before visiting the property I wasn't sure it was kid-friendly but after visiting it I am confidant that it is. The pool area and restaurant menus are great for kids. The rooms are large and spacious. Great after a long day at the parks. Great food at the resort and great Marriott service.
