The RCI Network: RCI is a network of resort properties in over 100 countries. RCI is a leader in the timeshare industry. One drawback to RCI is that if your resort is not a member of RCI then you cannot join RCI. Or if the timeshare that you want is not part of RCI.com, then it is not eligible for you. By definition, RCI is considered a “Closed club”. This is the model that the industry has operated under since RCI began. It’s caused resorts to sign exclusive agreements with RCI or Interval International and large paybacks of cash to resorts.
RCI Directory RCI’s far-reaching resort network spans 5,000 resorts in 100 countries. Whether you own an RCI timeshare or not, you can trade your week at your home resort for a week at another timeshare resort within the RCI Directory. If you are an RCI member, you are limited to only resorts that are part of the RCI network. Maui, Orlando, and Aruab are all options available for timeshare exchange whether you choose to use the RCI.com Resort Directory.
